Registration Details, Terms and Conditions
  1. The Registration Fee
Please note that there are different prices for the registration fee. These prices are dependent upon:
  (1) the date the online registration form is submitted by the registrants. Online registration forms must be submitted in order for registration to be valid. Early registrants are offered a lower registration fee to encourage early participation in this event.
  (2) In order to encourage participation from those residing in developing countries, a reduced registration fee is provided. It should be understood that it is more difficult for residents of developing countries to participate in such international conferences due to the income disparities. The categories of Developed and Developing are based on the World Bank's Country Classification. Countries with High Income Economies are considered Developed. All others are Developing. If you currently reside in one of these High Income Countries, your registration fee category is "Developed" even if you are living there temporarily or are originally from another country. To see this list of High Income Countries, click here.
  (3) Accompanying Persons: If participants of this World Forum wish to be accompanied by additional persons please indicate so on the registration form. The Accompanying Person Category is for guests of World Forum Participants (children, spouse, friends, etc). Co-authors, co-presenters and other participants of the Forum should register separately. There is a fee assessed per additional accompanying person (please see fee schedule for prices).
The online registration system accepts credit cards only. If you do not have a credit card, please contact IRFD and we will arrange for an alternate payment method. An alternate online registration form will also be provided. Alternate payment methods include: International Money Orders/Cashier's Checks; Wire Transfers; Company Check (US Only). All checks must be in US Dollars. All fees involved in drafting these instruments, transfer fees, bank fees, etc. are the responsibility of the registrant. IRFD will not accept payment that is less than the indicated amount.
Registration fees are refundable only until October 1st, 2005. All refunds will be assessed a $20 processing fee. IRFD reserves the right to refuse to allow the participation of any individual, group, institution or any other party if it is determined that such participation could be harmful in any way to any party. In rare circumstances caused by unforseen events, it may become necessary to cancel this event without notice to registered participants. If such unlikely circumstance occurs, IRFD will refund the registration fees. IRFD is not responsible for the reimbursement of any other costs due to the cancellation of the event such as those related to travel and accommodation, time lost, etc.

The Registration Fee for the Tunis Event includes the following:

  3. Copyright Information
Upon submission of papers to World Forum events, author(s) shall transfer copyright to IRFD or grant license/permission at no cost to print papers in the conference proceedings. If the paper has previously been published elsewhere and another party is copyright owner, it is the responsibility of the author to notify IRFD and to obtain reprinting permission (prior to submission of paper) from that publisher and pay any fees to that publisher so that IRFD can place the paper in the proceedings of these events. Without obtaining copyright ownership, license to print in proceedings or reprinting permission, IRFD cannot accept papers for presentation in its World Forums.
Unless author(s) notify IRFD of the publication status of the paper, submission of a paper to the IRFD World Forum will be interpreted by IRFD as a statement by the author(s) that the substance of the paper has not been published previously and that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submission of a paper to the IRFD World Forum by one author of a multi-authored paper will be interpreted by IRFD as a statement that all the authors have agreed to the content of the paper and to its submission.
Authors shall sign an agreement with IRFD prior to the submission of the final paper indicating either transfer of copyright, grant license to print in the proceedings or grant permission to reprint in the conference proceedings. The forms for these agreements and further details on these copyright issues are available here.
